Las Vegas Gun Range - "SteadyHustle Elite Training"
02.02.07
Sorry for the delay in recent posts. We took a little time off and just got back from a SteadyHustle retreat to Las Vegas. We were fortunate enough to be visiting during the AVN awards and the tech show, so there was no time to relax! If you ever get the chance, head down to the Las Vegas Gun Range and Firearm Center next time you're in Sin City. These guys took care of us and are highly trained. Any firearm you can think of is at your disposal. For a price. We opted for a fully automatic MAK-10 (which shot about 1100 rounds per minute) and a couple 9mm's. Here are a couple things we learned while hanging out waiting for our cab...1. Over 20% of the Las Vegas population have their concealed firearms permit. That means 2 out of ten people you 'act a fool' to, while drunk in the Casino, are strapped. 2. If you want to buy a sniper rifle, the nice folks at the Las Vegas Gun Range can have all the paperwork done and have you out the door within' 20 minutes, with no registration needed. They are the only people that know you have it... Welcome to the Wild West! ....Ummmm Scary.

Japanese Coffee House - "?????????????"
01.06.07
We ganked these pics from one of Santastic's staff's blog site. This makes Starbuck's Caramel Macchiato criss cross caramel pattern look like shit. Is that Baby Milo on the right? Bape Barista? "Double decaf, non-fat, soy, half whip, extra hot, vanilla latte' with a 'TIGER DESIGN' PLEASE!". The lines at Starbucks are long enough, please don't start asking for one of these.

Adidas Originals - "Harajuku store 5 year anniversary"
12.30.06
We had some pics sent over to us of the Harajuku Adidas Originals Store 5 year anniversary party held at Shibuya Box last month. Looks like a crazy 'sneakers on the hands' dance routine was going on with some crazy jumbo tron action in the background. Wow!. Exclusive to the event, Adidas teamed up with Tokyo's Santastic 'Saru' store for a cross collaboration tee that was limited to 100 pieces. I'm stoked to say "mine's in the mail" and we'll have pics as soon as it arrives in the next couple weeks. A big thank you goes out to Hiromi over at adidas Japan for hookin' it up. Good lookin' out!

Adidas Originals Store - "1 Year Anniversary Party"
12.09.06
The Steady Hustle staff attended the Vancouver Adidas Originals Store's 1 year anniversary party last week, and all we can say is "It was off the hook!". If you've ever been to one of their many parties over the last year, you know they come correct. This bash was no exception! Jamaican food catered by 'The Reef', Red Stripe beer, and enough vodka Red Bull to drown a small child. (see below). As always, they had DJ's rockin' the party cuts and free gifts for everyone at the end of the night. This evenings gifts were custom one-off umbrellas, made especially for the event. Unlike some other recent umbrella giveaways in the city, these ones will last. If you ever have the opportunity to attend one of these Vancouver Adidas parties, make sure you do. Good people, good staff, great time. Do I smell a NBA Superstar series launch party? Stay tuned...

GWAR - "11.09.06 Commodore Ballroom Vancouver, BC"
11.14.06
A few members of the SteadyHustle staff were invited onto the GWAR Tour Rig the other day (Don't ask) and managed to snap these exclusive pics of the temporarily retired GorGor who was disabled from the previous nights visit to Seattle. The fans in Vancouver were not as fortunate and never saw the beast as it rested in the truck, waiting for medical attention. Did I mention the puddles of wet blood lining the floor of the trailer.....Try explaining that one to the border patrol on you way home to the US. Word up to Fuzzy for inviting us into the GWAR mobile dungeon.

4416 - "Roppongi, Tokyo" 10.31.06
This is the new, Steady Hustle recommended, Izakaya called 4416 (That's the english translation), Located in Roppongi. Tetsuo (chef in the center) runs this joint, and if you happen to find this place, you're sure not to be disappointed. Unlike some Japanese restaurants, these guys will serve you a abundance of food and keep the beers flowing (trust us we know) as long as you want. The portions are simply prepared and huge by Japanese standards. Just remember to watch your head on your way in. Or more importantly on your way out when you're tipsy, as the sliding 4' high door at the bottom of the stairs may catch you by surprise. We give this place 4 stars. Great Staff.
