03.11.07
We've been saying this for years. Now you can remind everyone else who have been listening to all those 'Takin' loud and sayin' nothin'' Rappers.

Santastic X Michael Lau- "Tokyo Tribe Tee"
02.18.07
This right here is some serious shit. The homies over at Santastic! have hooked up with toy designer Michael Lau for these CRAZY! Tokyo Tribe Tees. If you're up on your vinyl figure game, you already know Michael Lau is arguably one of the best toy designers around. Teaming up with Santa of Santastic fame, these are going to fly off the shelves of the Santastic! store. For more info click here!

MakeLovenotWar
Make Love Not War - "Tee"
02.04.07
You gotta love this one. Chaney and the "W" 'lockin' lips' in front of a beautiful sunset, setting over the Washington monuments. This is by far one of the best tee's we've seen in awhile. If anyone knows where to get one, please let us know. We'll take 10!

exact-science
Exact Science - "One 2 Stock, One 2 Rock Tee"
01.08.07
The team over at Exact Science got a few new tees that cought our eye.....Here's just one. You can check out more at Las Vegas's www.hiphopsite.com.

bape-tiger-hoody-1
Bape - "Tiger Hooded top"
12.24.06
Someone please stop me from ripping this apart. Next Halloween you and your friends can dress up as skeletons,(see our fashion section) and 'Tigger' from Winnie the Pooh. Speaking of 'Pooh', this 'full zip front' hoody trend is crap. We had quite the positive feed back from our LRG 'Dead Serious' hoody write up last month (again, see our fashion section), so at least we're not the only ones to think 'this shit's got to go'. On another note, one of our Steady Hustle staff members will be making a series of these full zip sweats just in time for Halloween 2007, with screens of some of your favorite celebrities on them. Some of the 'costumes' to be created are: Mr.T (including stitched on, Grizzly hair mohawk and gold chains), Donald Trump (with removable rug and lined with 24k gold foil), Paris Hilton (This model will feature a full zip crotch, so you don't get caught showing the goods) and many more. Pictures to follow after the jump. Get serious.

Santastic! - "Santastic! X RMC Denim"
12.23.06
We finally got a nice pic of these bangers! The Santastic tribe hits us again with some of their higher end items, exclusive to their Tokyo store. Premium raw Japanese denim with the timeless 'falling cherry blossoms' embroidered on the back pocket are sure to keep the competition in 'check'. These are definitely some of the cleaner looking joints we've seen in awhile. Make sure you save up your Yen for a pair of these though, they'll set you back about $650, but worth every penny. They come in a nice 'slide top' wooden box that you can use afterwards to store your Tokyo Tribe Comics....These won't last for long, so book your Tokyo trip soon.

adidas
Adidas X Santastic - "Harajuku Store 5 Year Anniversary Tee"
12.14.06
Our homies over at the Adidas Originals store in Tokyo have hooked up with our other homies over at Santastic to produce this exclusive tee for the Harajuku store's 5 year anniversary. It's nice to see Adidas recognizing the real, and collaborating with someone different for a change. Hands down, this is the shirt to cop this winter season. It was only available at their anniversary party at the Shibuya Box ( a huge megaplex club ) on December 11th. If you were one of the few to get one of these $75 tees, consider yourself lucky. Hopefully mines in the mail....We'll let you know.

Emanuel Lewis - "At Atlanta Hawks Game"
12.08.06
Man! It's FU#KIN' Webster! Flossin' the new Adidas NBA pro-fit with matching jersey! Not to mention the pantone matched polo, layered underneath! I'm gonna take a educated guess that he's rockin the Adidas NBA series Atlanta Hawks Superstars on his feet as well. Oh wait a minute, the size run starts at size 8, so maybe not. Regardless, he's come a long way from livin' with the Papadapolise's. Webster's got his own game now. Is he ever gonna grow up? (Bad Joke). He's turning 36 next year. Ma'am and George would be proud.

Group Seven - "Calgary Alberta"
12.07.06
We got the word on this shop from one of our Steady Hustle correspondents who recently visited this store while in Calgary, Alberta. From the looks of it, these guys are steppin' up the game over in cow town. If you look carefully at the upper left hand pic, you can see the hardwood transition of the instore mini ramp with granite coping, Wow! Specializing in skateboards, apparel, kicks and tees, Group Seven has got Calgary covered. Skate store or art gallery? you decide. The clean interior rivals most high end shops we've seen both here, and abroad. Check 'em out at www.group7skateboarding.com

Santastic - "Saru Varsity Letterman Jacket"
11.29.06
If you're not familiar by now, Santastic is the home to Japan's #1 Manga comic creator Santa Inoue who's created such series as Tokyo Tribe and 13. The Santastic brand doesn't just stop there though...They've created a full line of clothing including tee's, sweat tops, cut & sew button-ups and Jackets, as well as a series of toys, accessories and more. Their latest release are these wool and leather 'Team' jackets, available in two colorways with custom chenille accents. These are only available at their Shibuya Store, and in limited quantities. Just for the record, they don't do mail order to North America either. So save you money kids, these jackets will set you back roughly half the price of a return plane ticket to Tokyo.

Dead-Serious Hoody - "Anonymous Retailer"
11.28.06
As we're sure you do as well, we here at SteadyHustle receive weekly newsletters from various retailers around the globe promoting their up-coming sales, etc. Cool right? Well... only if you've 'actually' signed up for their newsletters (but that's another rant all together). Here we received a sale promotion from a store that was selling lines like Enyce, Sean John, G-Unit etc. (you get the picture), who were pushing 20% off most of these items (understandable), with exception of the item pictured above. "Huh?" Now someone please tell us if we're wrong...wasn't 'Halloween' last month? Aren't 'costumes' supposed to be the items 'on sale' this time of year? Who the F#@K is gonna wear this anytime of the year? Especially with the hood zipped up like that. It looks like a wet-suit used to film the underwater shots of Pirates of the Caribbean 1. Unlike the movie "Pirates", these are not going to be a hit at 'any' box office. Unless your 'office' is in a cardboard 'box', in which you've closed yourself off to the outside world, and actually think this hoody is on some next shit. The next shit my friends is Oct.31st 2007, until then, keep this top in the closet where it belongs. Don't hate the player.....

Garbege - "Africa Tee"
11.24.06
This is by far one of the best knockoff tees we've seen in awhile. Not only is it a Metallica fonted Africa tee, It looks as if it has sewn-on appliqué's and rhinestones? WTF? You can peep more gems (or rhinestones) like these at iloveyourtshirt.com

tee1tee2
Orchard Street - "Winter 06 Collection"
11.20.06
Someone please tell me what's wrong with these pictures. OK I'll start. First, what's up with the silhouette of the earth with the tennis net behind it, and some circular star breast crest?
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Just because you have a t-shirt line in a couple select stores, doesn't mean you can slap whatever you want on a tee shirt and it's automatically cool and going to sell. Second, why would anyone want wear a tee shirt with a screen of every all-over print hoody wearing, faux ice rockin',self proclaimed Nigo assistant, wanna be gangster nerd at the MAGIC trade show. Unless I just described you of course.....In which case, ignore what you just read and keep rockin' these wack styles until something new and equally GARBAGE comes along.

woodwater
Staple - "Woodwater Crew"
11.19.06
Staple delivers on this crew. Simple looking, yes, but once you admire the embroidery, it's anything but. Influenced by Wood & Water instead of pagers, skulls, and gold chains, this is a nice alternative to the later. Only available in white at time of post, so don't get caught wearing this to any BBQ houses or GWAR concerts.

Uniqlo - "New York Flagship Store"
11.15.06
Japan's Uniqlo brand sets up shop in NYC this past week and has captured the attention and wallets of curious New Yorkers. The store's interior design and fixtures were designed by Wonderwall, the same company who designs the Bathing Ape Stores worldwide. So yeah, it's clean. What the average North American hipster doesn't know though, is that Uniqlo is the equivalent of the GAP or Old Navy in Japan. 5 pairs of socks for $3, cheap t-shirts that will never fit after washing, and some of the weirdest fitting pant's we've come across grace these racks in Japan. Don't get me wrong, on occasion we'll find a rare item such as STAPLE X Uniqlo exclusive t-shirts and cheap dress shirts that actually fit. Just remember, when someone says "Yeah, I got it at Uniqlo!" don't be fooled into thinking they're on some next shit. It's like saying, "Yeah, I got this super exclusive, rare, hard to find item at the GAP. We love Uniqlo for what it is, a over designed store with under designed apparel. Now you know.

Staple - "Internal Zip-Up Sweater"
11.14.06
Staple came out strong this season with a lot of new cut n' sew pieces, including these bangers right here. You may have seen some peeps rockin' these around town, but have you seen the detailing inside? For the most part, we know the skull thing will never go away, so why not except it at it's best. It's nice to see someone taking the skull design seriously. Enough with that flat, wingding of of a font you other companies call a skull. This is on a Bone Collector X Hogwarts type vibe with the skull screen on the inside and the embroidered crest on the chest. Feelin' It?

Sub Division - "Unit 306 Water St. Vancouver, BC"
11.03.06
Sub Division opened it's doors around 6 months ago and has been going strong ever since. Carrying independent lines from around the world like Fiber Ops, Acapulco Gold, 316, NSBQ and crooks and castles, Sub Division is sure to provide something not only unique, but highly limited as well. Jewelry, toys, magazines and books also grace these shelves, so pop buy and pay these guys some respect. Watch for the motion sensor inferred light when entering. Sign up on their website for shop updates.

Ice Cream - "Harajuku Tokyo Store"
10.29.06
Last week we checked out this spot on our "power" three day trip to Tokyo. We just kinda stumbled upon it. Nice store, yes. But bottom line is, people gotta get over Pharrel. I mean, I don't care who's making or designing the apparel, it really doesn't matter.....anything with a 12" fox on your crotch is wack. And the shoes ain't nothin' either...they could put images of peanuts and dirty socks on them and you know they would sell like hotcakes.....why? someone please tell me WHY? People gotta get off the bandwagon......Yep we said it here first. But hey, nice store. Oh yeah, the BBC shop is in the back, with a silver, neon and digital laced, music video hallway entrance. When you walk through it, you really start to feel like you're a billionaire.....ummmmm, no.
