Nike- "Air Max 90 Boot"
02.24.07
First off, we gotta say that these will be the most comfortable boots EVER! Not to mention this bangin' colorway. These joints are like memory foam for your feet. Maybe they're not designed by NASA, but that's just because Nike beat them to it. Available spring/summer 07.

We have to hand it to Nike for delivering these heaters. The Tokyo Taxi Series. We dug up some of our own photos for reference so you can see what a great job they did. Take a look at the detailing and compare with the actual photos above. From the black door handles on the turquoise cab to the yellow diagonal stripes on the green taxi, these kicks are sure to stop traffic in any city.

12.07.06
Here's a sneak peek of the 2007 Micropacer Japan edition. For those who can't read Japanese, the text on the side says "Micropacer'. This is a Steady Hustle 'Exclusive'. So if you see it anywhere else, you know who's gankin' who. Keep your eyes peeled for these in the new year. Heaters!

Adidas X Great Escape X Dj Science - "Great Escape "Cooler King" Superstar"
12.05.06
Anyone who has seen the classic flick "The Great Escape", will appreciate these customs. No shorts were taken in the construction of this shoe that's been dubbed the "Cooler King" after Steve McQueen's character in the movie. Originally created by Dj Science for the Adicolor launch in Vancouver, these joints have created quite a buzz among collectors. In fact, attractive bids have been made for a pair. Unfortunately only one shoe was ever produced. For the right price, I'm sure you could talk Science into making a matching right shoe. The tongue logo is a portrait of Steve McQueen, with a genuine 'royal air force' lapelle pin as a lace jewl. Did we mention the custom diarama with barbed wire fence, guard tower, trees, and the shoe surfacing from one of the Great Escape's tunnels? We're not sure which tunnel it is, Tom, Dick or Harry....

Nike - "Animal Skins"
11.30.06
A couple weeks ago we featured the Dunk Mid SB (Three Bears Pack) and made a comment about the possibility of 'endangered species' dunks (our idea).*Please see the write up in our 'Shoe' section. Well we knew it would just be a matter of time before someone acted on this brilliant idea. I have to add that these guys didn't give SteadyHustle any credit. 'You're Welcome!" Anyway, they seem to be on the right track, but not quite. The big problem is that these are obviously not taken from real 'pelts'. The consistency of the patterns is way too clean. And what's up with the pink pig skin at the top? Please. If you're gonna do it, do it right. We're not gonna waste our time picking these apart any more....NEXT!

Nike - "Women's Peacock Air Force 1's"
11.29.06
Wow! Just when we thought Nike was running out of new ideas, they slap us in the face with these...The Women's Peacock AF-1. This model is for all you girls who complain about how men's sneakers are so much nicer than women's and they never make smaller sizes. This time 'us guys' are the jealous one's and we hope they make these in 'bigger' sizes! Unlike the peacock, these are gonna fly.....Check your local retailer as soon as these drop.

GoodFoot - "Vancouver, BC"
11.24.06
This past Friday, GoodFoot opened the doors to their new Vancouver location. Located in the old Monster Video spot in Gastown, GoodFoot has renovated this HUGE spot nicely. These guys are joining the likes of Complex, Livestock, ie, Richard Kidd, Sub Division, Dutil and Inform, who have all set up shop in the Gastown area in the past few years, to revitalize this historic neighborhood, which has become the hub of fashion and design for Vancouver. Right now, the walls of the shop are laced with artwork from Boogie's "It's All Good" exhibit and sure to be the home of many more showings in the future. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the kicks! These guys are sure to bring some heaters out of the stockroom on a regular basis, so make sure you're checkin' the store often. The shot above is from Matt George @ NimNim. We Had to gank this pic cause' it had SteadyHustler Josh Pong in it. Check out the store next time you're roamin' around Gastown. Tell em' you saw it on SteadyHustle!

German Customs Officers - "Shreds Counterfeit Shoes"
11.21.06
German customs officers have possibly seized the world's largest haul of counterfeit goods. At a press conference on November 15th in Hamburg, they revealed that 117 containers with a market value of about 383 million Euros have been retained so far. Among them were 8 containers with 71,864 pairs of adidas sneakers as well as 2 containers with 33,036 pairs of Puma sneakers. However, the majority - 101 containers - were loaded with 945,384 pairs of Nike sneakers. The remaining containers with counterfeit products consisted of other brand shoes, textiles, watches and toys. The shipment originated in Asia and was destined for recipients in Austria, Italy, and Hungary, some of them with fictitious addresses. Three Hamburg based contractors have now begun shredding piles of fake products and trucking the waste to incineration facilities for disposal.
