Bamboo Technology- "19" LCD TV & Laptops"
03.14.07
Well these are sure to give you a 'woody'! A couple new companies have started producing these tech devices housed in real bamboo. Whether or not they'll show up at your local electronics mega-store, is still up in the air. In the mean time, grab your knife and start whittling!

Sony- "Gold Edition PSP"
02.24.07
These were just released in Japan and sell for MSRP (around $200). It may take awhile before you see these on this side of the water, as we're still waiting for the white one that was released over a year ago in JPN. The gold edition seen here is dope! Hopefully they won't take it a step further and start mounting Rhinestones all over them. Otherwise PSP may stand for Paris's Sony Portable.

??????? - "????????????"

For all of those who are already sick of their Wii or PS3, you may want to look into one of these... Gaming (or getting to work) will never be the same. As far as we know, these are currently a Japanese exclusive and are not available for export. If you really can't wait, this is the next best thing...CLICK HERE!

Y3 X We The People - "Limited Edition BMX"
01.07.06
This little number was released a while back but not a lot of peeps got to see it. Well here it is...If you're thinking of asking "How much?", think again. We're almost positive these are long gone. Save your money for the new Y3 high tops in all black instead...Not as fast, no, but just as fresh! and you don't have to lock 'em up!

Mark Gonzalez - "Action Figure"
12.06.06
Not much to say about this one. We just kind of stumbled upon it and thought it was kinda interesting. The only problem is, it looks nothing like Gonz! Maybe if he shaved off his beard, put on a rugby helmet, replaced his signature sweater with a downhill racing top and his usual Khakis with some tight baseball pants, it could 'possibly' be him. Ummmm No. The only thing that kinda ties this one together is the Skateboard and the Sphinx like, peace Schmoo...If anyone has a clue what's up with this, please let us know.

Fac Jackson's Quest for a PS3 - "Two Days After The Launch!"
11.30.06
We were told this story by fellow Hustler, 'Fac Jackson' last week and had to publish it.
The following was submitted by Vancouver producer Fac Jackson:
In my quest to attain a Sony Playstation 3 at retail price, many things have been revealed to me.
1.Anything is possible if you think things through.
2.People will always look in the wrong places.
3.If you have a hunch things can go wrong, they most certainly will.
I know what you're thinking..."You're a crazy motherf*cker, PS3's are sold out across America and you think you can get one 2 days after the launch?, from a store? YEAH RIGHT!"
Well allow me to explain what has happened. I was sitting on the computer at work (cargo dept. at a major Canadian Airline in Vancouver) and I thought -"How can I get one of these without paying the average price of $1250 cdn?" Which is the current rate on Craigslist. When it dawned on me. Everyone will be looking around Vancouver. There may be a few peeps thinking "Chilliwack, or Abbotsford" but most likely those would be sold out too. Then I decided the 'fluke factor' may kick in. So I compiled a list of all the Best Buy's, Futureshop's, London Drugs, Sony Store's, etc to see if maybe SOMEONE still had one or possibly received a late shipment. I called all the lower mainland stores, and started calling the Alberta stores. In my desperation I even called the Saskatchewan stores. Then I remembered the U.S. was getting more than Canada. So I called the washington stores Best Buy and Target. Still nada. To my list I added the Zellers stores. Still nothin'. I popped into some stores on my lunch break, hoping that someone possibly gave me some wrong information. Nope. All sold out. "Don't know when we are getting more", etc. So I came back to the computer and started calling more remote places in BC. Called Terrace. Nada. Prince Rupert - almost, almost, nada. Prince George. BINGO!. An hour later I was on the regional jet (on a employee pass) to Prince George. Hailed a cab. "Please take me to Walmart!" - the cabbie just gave me a strange look. Got to Walmart...told the cabbie to "wait" and that I'd "be right back". Did I mention it's -10 degrees Celsius and I'm wearing a thin nylon jacket!. I went inside and attained the PS3. Went back outside. Told the cabbie to "Take me back to the airport" - by this time the cabbie doesn't know what's going on. I got back to the Prince George airport and am now sitting at the gate waiting to board. Then the bad news. The plane has some serious problems and there's a new plane on the way...sometime. Damn! I have to be back at work in Vancouver by 5am! They then said a mechanic will be flown in to take care of the mechanical problems. Finally at midnight I am boarding a plane back to Vancouver - with a brand new PS3 in hand. At least I got the goods - long day but worth it. Maybe next time I'll just camp out locally......Um No.

Brian Jungen - "Prototype For New Understanding"
11.30.06
For those of you who missed the gallery showings of Brian Jungen's "Prototype For New Understanding" we dug up these pics for you to enjoy. Constructed entirely from Nike Air Jordan's, these Northwest Coast Indian masks are so detailed, it's hard to comprehend the imagination that went into creating them. Awhile back I found myself chillin' at Brian's Vancouver studio after his official opening reception at the Vancouver Art Gallery, and had the pleasure to meet the 'man behind the masks' and talk about the exhibit. Unfortunately, it happened to be my birthday that evening and conversation quickly lead to more drinking and no official story or interview came of it. I apologize....but for more pictures of these incredible pieces, check out the gallery HERE!

Banksy - "Thunder Mountain, Guantanamo Bay"
11.27.06
Guerilla artist 'Banksy' recently touched down in the magic kingdom to inflate his life sized replica of a Guantanamo Bay detainee inside the Thunder Mountain Railway. Sources say it took about 90 minutes before the 'detainee' was removed. I guess security was too busy eatin' their doughnuts down on 'Main Street U.S.A" to notice. A spokeswoman for Banksy said "The stunt was intended to highlight the plight of terror suspects at the controversial detention center in Cuba." (Side note)- if you haven't seen it yet, rent the movie 'Road to Guantanamo'. It will open your eyes as to what's really going on down there. Highly recommended. In the mean time, check out the footage of Banksy's mission by clicking HERE! CRAZY!
